HUMSHAKALS MOVIE REVIEW
This week released the much awaited #Humshakals starring Saif Ali Khan, Ritesh Deshmukh and Ram Kapoor. It comes from Sajid Khan, the director of multiple comedy films over the years which have never been path breaking but yes funny and entertaining. The opening lines of the movie convey that it’s a tribute to Kishore Kumar and Jim Carrey style of comedy. Now let’s focus on the plot- Saif (Ashok) is a son of a multimillionaire and Ritesh (Kumar) is his childhood best friend, Ram plays the role of an evil maternal uncle (Refer to Kans in Mahabharata) who ploys to get the entire empire under his belt by proving Ashok mentally unfit. In a bid to do so he takes the help of his scientist friend who has developed a gene-changing solution , which changes human genes to a dog’s gene if consumed! Ashok’s treacherous uncle makes him drink it and the chaotic scenes start beginning and continues as a list of mindless buffooneries till the end of the movie with the introduction of Humshakals at rapid intervals (it can only known by the background music which plays “Humshakals…’ every time a new humshakal is introduced!) The climax is a pandemonium in itself, it’s filled with nothing but a 30 minutes of added boredom to a package of 2 hour 30 mins (Duration of the tragedy! Oh sorry, comedy!)

With Humshakals, Sajid Khan manages to fetch a new low in his carrier (Himmatwala? It was a Disprin Better!) Saif is in a never seen before avatar and it’s the script that takes him down with it. Ritesh is very impressive and Ram Kapoor is monotonic in most parts! The actresses of the film (Tamanna, Bipasha & Esha) are wasted completely. They have been kept at an underrated level in the movie. The film does occasionally bring on dollops of laughter but at the very next scenes calls for a disprin! Hence, the reference to Jim carrey and Kishore Kumar is the “one liner of the year”. At many stages the film tries to be a part of the comedy of errors genre but fails miserably and turns out to be comedy with errors! The background score is absolutely average and leaves the audience scrounging for something to take back home!

Overall, it is one of the weakest movies of the year which murders all expectations and falls flat on its face. Bumpy, jerky, crazy and distasteful…..this film leaves me wanting for more “-ve” adjectives.

‘Mastram’ review by Vivek Choudhury

This week releases Mastram, directed by Akhilesh Jaiswal and Starring Rahul Baggage in the lead. The movie is a fictional biography of a porn writer. Mastram indeed was known as the Shakespeare of sleaze in the Indian exotic reading domain.

The story is about a guy (Rahul Bagga) who wants to proper as a writer but when he steps out to get the fame as a writer, his works remain unaccomplished and hence leading him to a moral breakdown. He then status writing exotic, sleaze feast stories which catch the attention of the readers of the “sex-starved” nation and soon his writings become popular and he achieves fame.

The acting shown in the film lacks punch and expressions of the lead actors come as monotonous after an hour, adding to this is the dismal handling of such a brilliant theme by the director and a lagging background score makes the film fall flat on its face.

The movie had a brilliant story and a brave attempt to bring out the story of such writers. Kudos for the try but it deserved a bit more than the story….

The Xpose Music Review : Himesh Reshamiya Back With Bang

The-Xpose-music-review

Movie :- The Xpose

Banner:- HR Music

Music Director:- Himesh Reshmmiya

Singers:- Himesh Reshmmiya, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Palak Muchchal & Mohammed Irfan

Lyricist:- Sameer, Kumaar & Shabbir Ahmed

Music Company:- T Series

Music Rating :- 4/5* [Four Star out of Five]

1st Song – Ice Cream Khaungy

The first song Ice cream khaungi, Kashmir jaoongi… is in the voice of Himesh Reshammiya, Yo Yo Honey Singh and Palak Muchhal. This song reminds you of the ’60s music when R.D. Burman ruled. Honey, Himesh and Palak have sung very well and composition is very good but its lyrics is so weak and it kill the mood.

2nd Song – Dard Dilon Ke

There is a confusion among fans that this one of the most popular song of the album has composed Himesh Reshamiya but reality is this song is only picturised
on Himesh but not sung by him. Mohammad Irfan has sung this melodious song. He has sung this song
with the emotion of what he did for his
soulmet. After Tum Hi Ho From Aashiqui 2 I heard this types of wording and
composition is out standing.

3rd Song – Hai Apna Dil To Awara

This song is taken from the same song from the movie Solva Saal (1958) and it was sung by golden voiced Hemant Kumar. It has been sung by Yo Yo Honey Singh and Himesh Reshammiya. The song starts with Honey’s rap and Himesh’s jaadulious voice reaches many hearts. This Song is Heartbeat of the whole Movie.

4th Song – Catch Me If You Can

This is the title song of the film. It has been sung by Shalmali Kholgade, Neeti Mohan, Shubhangi Tiwari, Mohit Chauhan, Himesh Reshammiya and Mika Singh. All the singers are good. Mika Paaji is Out Standing.Payal Muchchal Is Mind Blowing And last Himesh Reshmmiya What Should I Say Only One Word “Incridible”.

5th Song – Surrooor

Himesh is back with his lucky word ‘Surrooor’ in this song. Shalmali Kholgade gives him ample company in this song. Wording is Very Good And Singers Sung In One Flow Of Rhythm.
Composition of this song also made his
effect to audience. Overall This Song Is Beautifull..

6th Song – Sheeshe Ka Samundar

This is the best song of the album. Sheeshe ka samundar Has been sung by Ankit Tiwari and its reprise version has been sung by Rekha Bhardwaj. This melodious song wins everybody’s heart.

On the whole, It is a fabulous music album. Himesh proves again that he is a better composer than actor. All the songs are popular among fans. We give four stars out of five for the film. Wishing a best of luck to whole the team of The Xpose for the success of the film.
